1. Visit a city museum

Where:Seven museums in Luxembourg city

Each year, the museums in Luxembourg city open their doors for one night of special musical performances. This year the participating museums are: Villa Vauban, Casino Luxembourg, Lëtzebuerg City Museum, National museum of Natural History, Musée um Fëschmaart, Musée Dräi Echelen and the Mudam. 2. Watch slam poetry

What:Luxembourgish slam poetry championship
Where: Rotondes in Bonnevoie
When: Friday, 13 October at 8pm

You get to be the judge at the Luxembourgish slam poetry championship. As the public gets to decide the winner of the night, who will then go on to represent Luxembourg in the Euoprean championship in Antwerp in January of 2024. At the poetry slam, every language is permitted! The entrance fee is 10€ if you are over 26 years old, or 5€ if you are one of our younger readers. You can buy tickets here.

3. Discover Korean culture

When: Sunday, 14 October from 2pm to 9pm - free entry

To commemorate the 60th anniversary of diplomatic ties between the EU and South Korea, a Korean institute in Luxembourg is putting together an afternoon to experience their culture. Watch music and dance performances and enjoy traditional Korean food and drinks. The event is split into two parts, one in the afternoon and one in the evening, where the programmemostly repeats.

4. Sell your used children clothes and toys

What: Second hand market for children

When:Friday, 13 October - 4pm to 8pm

If you would like to buy some pre-loved toys or clothes for your children this market is the perfect opportunity! This market will focus specifically on clothes and toys for babies and children from 0-16 years. You can find more information on the Facebook page.

5.Go to the release party of a Luxembourgish artist

What: Turnup Tun album release

Tun Tonnar aka Turnup Tun is one of Luxembourg's biggest artist is unveiling his brand new album titled "Nuit Blanche" at the Kulturfabrik. A ticket for the show will cost you 15€, and support will be provided by his younger brother and by the Luxembourgish singer Irem. The DJ-Duo "Contrôle Technique" will keep the party going after the concert. Doors will open at 8pm.

6. Taste a Luxembourgish Beer

What: National Brewery (Brasserie Nationale) open day
Where:2, boulevard. J. F. Kennedy, L-4930 Bascharage
When:Sunday, 15 October - from 2pm until 6 pm - free entry

This Sunday, the Brewery that brings you Bofferding, Battin and Funck-Bricher will open its door to the public. You will be able to peak behind the curtain and find out how the beers are brewed. Of course if you are of age you will be able to taste all of their different beers as well. Food and animations for children will also be provided on site. 7. Take part in a charity run

What: Race for the cure
Where: Auberge de Jeunesse in Echternach near the lake
When:Sunday, October 15, registration fee is 15€

The 5th edition of this charity run organised by Think Pink Luxembourg will take place this Sunday. The run is open to people with reduced mobility and people with buggies. The deadline for the online registration is on Saturday October 14. There will be drinks and food on location. Dogs are welcomed but need to be kept on a leash.
